What it does

Gnomad Slate stays ready in the background until you need it. Drop ephemeral scratch notes with auto-archive, keep persistent vault markdown files, and store credentials in Vault-X with AES-256-GCM encryption — the UI never holds decrypted secrets. Summon with Option+Space from any app.

Vault-X keeps API keys and tokens encrypted at rest with Argon2id and AES-256-GCM. The React UI never receives decrypted secret values — only metadata and controlled reveal/copy via Tauri IPC.
